Road Milling Team / Operatives
Location: Liverpool / North West
Salary: Competitive – Based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Day & Night shifts available
About the Role:
We are looking for experienced Road Milling Operatives to join our growing team. You will be responsible for operating road planers, assisting with milling operations, and ensuring efficient removal of road surfaces in preparation for resurfacing. The role requires working on live highways, construction sites, and major infrastructure projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22,880.00-£62,290.68 per year
Operate road planers and associated machinery safely and efficiently.
Work closely with the team to carry out milling and profiling operations.
Load and dispose of milled materials in accordance with site plans.
Ensure the site is left clean and safe post-milling.
Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks.
Work in line with health & safety regulations and adhere to traffic management plans.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, site managers, and traffic controllers.
Requirements:
Experience in road milling, asphalt, or surfacing operations (preferred).
CSCS or NPORS/CPCS card (essential).
NVQ Level 2 in Road Planing (desirable but not essential).
Full UK driving license (HGV Class 2 preferred but not required).
Willingness to work night shifts and weekends when required.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive work ethic.
